1. WHAT ARE THESE TERMS
1.1 What these terms cover: These are the terms and conditions on which we sell tickets (“Tickets”) for any of the public courses, workshops, supper clubs or events listed on our website (“Events”) through use of the online checkout. These terms do not cover sales for tickets to Daylesford Festival or any other event where tickets are purchased via a third party website/platform, irrespective that such event may be taking place at our premises and/or advertised on our website or otherwise.
1.2 Why you should read them: These Terms will apply to any contract between us for the supply of Tickets (“Contract”). Please read these Terms carefully before booking any Ticket through our site. Please note that before placing a booking for a Ticket you will be asked to agree to these Terms. If you refuse to accept these Terms you will not be able to book any Ticket(s).
1.3 Print or Save: You should print a copy of these Terms or save it to your device for future reference.
1.4 Legal rights: As a consumer, you have legal rights. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office. Nothing in these Terms will affect these legal rights.
1.5 English only: These Terms, and any contract between us, are only in the English language.
1.6 Consumer only: These Terms apply if you are dealing with us as a consumer. If you wish to procure Tickets for Events as part of your business, please contact us for details on 01608 731 700.l
2. OTHER APPLICABLE TERMS
2.1 Privacy Policy: Our Privacy Policy which sets out the terms on which we process any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us.
2.2 Cookie Policy: Our Cookie Policies, which sets out information about the cookies on our sites. The Cookie Policy relevant to each of our sites is available on each site.
2.3 Other Terms: If you are looking to book Events by way of a private function then separate event and private hire terms apply.
3. ABOUT US
3.1 Who we are. Bamford Collection is the overarching umbrella brand name covering the following entities:
A. Bamford Collection Limited, a company registered in England as a limited liability company with company number 03064811 and VAT number [GB823857801] whose registered office and main trading address is at The Hive, Daylesford Farm, Moreton in Marsh, GL560YG, which is the entity which carries out central functions for other entities making up the Bamford Collection;
B. Daylesford Organic Limited, a company registered in England as a limited liability company with company number 03868901 and VAT number [GB800298256] whose registered office is at The Hive, Daylesford Farm, Moreton in Marsh, GL560YG, the activities of which include online sales of goods and events via https://www.daylesford.com/ and the operation of farm shops and cafes and events;
C. Bamford Limited, a company registered in England as a limited liability company with company number 04950734 and VAT number [GB823857801], whose registered office is at The Hive, Daylesford Farm, Moreton in Marsh, GL560YG, the activities of which include online sales of goods and services via https://www.bamford.com/ and the operation of stores selling clothing and bath and body products, The Club by Bamford and directly owned spas;
D. Daylesford Stays being the overarching umbrella brand name for the group of companies which is made up of:
(i) Thrip Enterprises LLP, a company registered in England as a limited liability partnership with company number OC375071 and VAT number [GB139293490], whose registered office is at The Hive, Daylesford Farm, Moreton in Marsh, GL560YG and whose main trading address is Church Street, Kingham, Oxfordshire OX7 6YA and which operates The Wild Rabbit including food and beverage sales, accommodation and events and Daylesford Cottages with the Site(s) of https://thewildrabbit.co.uk/.
(ii) Daylesford Stays LLP, a company registered in England as a limited liability partnership with company number OC433190 and VAT number [GB369145472], whose registered office is at The Hive, Daylesford Farm, Moreton in Marsh, GL560YG which operates The Fox and The Bell including food and beverage sales, accommodation and events with the Site(s) of https://thefoxatoddington.com/, https://www.thebellatcharlbury.com;
(iii) Windrush Taverns Limited, a company registered in England as a limited liability company with company number 08096787 and VAT number [GB136193710], whose registered office is at The Hive, Daylesford Farm, Moreton in Marsh, GL560YG which operates The Three Horseshoes (previously named The Maytime) including food and beverage sales, accommodation and events with the Site(s) of https://themaytime.com/, www.threehorseshoesasthall.com.
Further hospitality venues may be added to the Daylesford Stays brand over time either by separate legal entities or through such properties being owned by one of the above legal entities and these Terms shall cover any such new properties.

3.3 References to “we”, ‘us’ and ‘our’: These Terms are issued on behalf of all entities falling within the Bamford Collection so “we”, “us” or “our” in these Terms is reference to the relevant entity selling the Ticket and/or hosting the Event.
4. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
These Terms may be amended at any time. Please check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes that have been made. Historic versions can be obtained by contacting us. Every time you wish to book a Ticket for an Event, please check these Terms to ensure you understand the terms which will apply at that time. The terms and conditions applying shall be those in place on the date that you make your request to purchase a Ticket.
5. BASIS OF SALE
5.1 Validity: You may only book Tickets if you are at least 18 years old.
5.2 Making a Booking: Our website is set-up to guide you through the steps you need to take to book a Ticket with us. You are only able to book a Ticket if there are places available. Our site process allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting your request for a Ticket. Please take the time to read and check your requirements at each page of the order process. Inform us immediately of any discrepancies as in the event of any delay in informing us of the same we cannot normally rectify any errors.
5.3 Offer: When you confirm and pay for your Ticket, you offer to buy the place at the Event at the prices indicated.
5.4 Acceptance: We will confirm our acceptance to you of your Ticket for the Event by sending you an email that confirms your Ticket and your attendance at the Event (Event Confirmation). The Contract between us will only be formed when we send you the Event Confirmation.
5.5 Rejection of booking: If we are unable to provide you with a Ticket for an Event, for example because the Event is fully booked or no longer available or because of an error in the price on our site, we will inform you of this by e-mail and we will not process your request. If you have already paid for the Ticket, we will refund you the full amount as soon as possible AND THIS SHALL BE OUR FULL LIABILITY IN THIS REGARD.
5.6 Refusal of booking: We reserve the right to refuse any request for Tickets at our discretion without reason.
6. PAYMENT AND PRICES
6.1 Prices: The price of the Ticket for the Event will be as quoted at the time you submit your reservation request and will be advised during the check-out process before you confirm your reservation request. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the prices are correct at the time when the relevant information was provided. However, if we discover an error in the price, please see Paragraph 6.5 for what happens in this event.
6.2 VAT: The prices of Tickets is VAT inclusive (where applicable) at the applicable current rate chargeable in the UK for the time being. However, if the rate of VAT changes between the date of your reservation and the date of the Event, we will adjust the VAT you pay, unless you have already paid for the Ticket in full before the change in VAT takes effect. VAT receipts are available on request.
6.3 Price changes: Ticket prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect reservations for Tickets already placed.
6.4 Payment: We require payment in full at the time of booking. We do not take provisional bookings and cannot confirm your Ticket for an Event until we receive full payment. Payment can be made using Master Card, Visa, Delta, Maestro, American Express, PayPal, gift card or Google Pay.
6.5 Incorrect pricing: It is always possible that, despite our reasonable efforts, some of the Events on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally check prices as part of our Event Confirmation procedures so that:
(a) where the correct price for the Ticket for the Event is less than the price stated on our site, we will charge the lower amount. However, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mispricing, we do not have to provide the Ticket to the Event to you at the incorrect (lower) price; and
(b) if the correct price for the Ticket for the Event is higher than the price stated on our site, we will contact you in writing by e-mail as soon as possible to inform you of this error and we will give you the option of continuing to book the Ticket at the correct price or cancelling your reservation. We will not process your reservation until we have your instructions. If we are unable to contact you using the contact details you provided during the reservation process, we will treat the reservation as cancelled and notify you and this shall be our full liability in this regard.
7. EVENT DETAILS, SAFETY & WELLBEING
7.1 Inclusions: Please see appropriate Event details for information as to what is included in the cost of the Ticket and if there are any instructions as to suitability.
7.2 Amendments: We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments to the Event content and timing and to substitute any named individuals involved with the Event without notice.
7.3 Location: Events take place at the location detailed on our site or otherwise advised at the time of booking. You must keep to all areas designated as being available for your use during the Event and not stray to any non-public areas.
7.4 Exclusions: You are responsible for arranging and the cost of transport to and from the location and for any accommodation you may require and also any refreshments you may require during the Event (other than those detailed in the Event listing as being part of the Event).
7.5 Timing: All Events should be attended on a punctual basis unless prevented by occurrences which are beyond your reasonable control.
7.6 Personal effects: You are advised not to bring any items of special value onto our premises. We will not accept responsibility for the loss of any personal possessions.
7.7 Instructions: Your wellbeing is important to us. You must comply with all rules and regulations and safety instructions issued by us and the Event Provider (being the person delivering the Event) from time to time. If we consider that you have behaved in an unacceptable manner, we will be entitled to require you to leave the Event without liability to you.
7.8 Clothing: You should wear comfortable clothing and sensible footwear suitable for the Event.
7.9 Allergies: Please inform us in advance of any allergies. Please note, for certain Supper Club or special menu Events, there may be a fixed menu which is unable to be amended. You will be notified of this at the time of booking.
7.10 Equipment: Certain Events may require the operation of various equipment, some of which may be unfamiliar to you. You must ensure that you follow all operating instructions for such equipment which will be given to you by the Event Provider before use. If, at any time during the Event you are unsure of how to operate a piece of equipment please do not use and ask the Event Provider for assistance.
7.11 Accidents: In the event of an accident, whether or not this requires first aid treatment, please inform the Event Provider or a member of our staff immediately. You may be required to complete an accident report sheet.
7.12 Intoxicants: You must not be under the influence of any alcohol or drugs whilst attending the Event (unless the Event itself involves alcohol of course, in which case please ensure you have made appropriate transport arrangements! Always drink responsibly).
7.13 Notifications: If at any time you feel your health and safety may be at risk, please inform the Event Provider or a member of our staff.
7.14 Responsibility: We cannot be held responsible for accidents caused by misuse of any equipment or failure to adhere to all directions and instructions issued by the Event Provider or any member of our staff. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
7.15 Intellectual Property: All ideas, creations and designs produced by us/the Event Provider during the Workshop and the content of any explanatory materials (for example, slides, handouts etc) used within the Event will be our/the Event Provider’s own and original creation except for matters in the public domain without restriction. These are subject to copyright laws.
7.16 Workstations: Where appropriate to the Event in question, please try to keep your work stations free from clutter and waste and ensure all equipment is placed in the designated areas provided. Please ensure all sharp objects, such as knives etc are kept safely out of harm’s way. In the event a large amount of liquid, hot or cold, is spilt on to the floor, please inform a member of the team.
8. CANCELLATION
8.1 Cancellation by you: For non-cancellable Events (as indicated through the booking process) no no refund will be provided unless otherwise agreed by us in our ultimate discretion without any obligation. This shall also apply if you do not turn up to the Event. In the event that you cancel a booking which is cancellable, we reserve the right to impose cancellation charges, as follows:
8.1.1 Twenty-eight (28) days or more prior to the date of the Event, we can refund any monies paid or alternatively we can work with you, if applicable to the Event in question, to move the booking for the particular event type to an alternative date.
8.1.2 Twenty eight (28) to fourteen (14) days prior to the date of the Event, we will work with you, if applicable to the Event in question, to move the booking for the particular event type to an alternative date. If you fail to rebook an alternative date for the Event type all rights are forfeited and no refund will be provided unless otherwise agreed by us in our ultimate discretion without any obligation;
8.1.3 less than fourteen (14) days before the date of the Event no refund will be issued. This shall also apply if you do not turn up to the Event. No refund will be provided unless otherwise agreed by us in our ultimate discretion without any obligation.
8.2 Change of attendee: In the event that you are unable to attend the Event, then we will accept a nomination by you for another person to attend in your place, provided that their requirements are not significantly different to your original requirements given. In all other circumstances, clause 8.1 shall apply. Any person attending in your place shall also be expected to adhere to these terms and conditions. We do not accept entry to people with Tickets which have been resold through other official ticket-selling websites.
8.4 How to cancel: To cancel, you just need to let us know. The easiest and most effective route is to contact our Events Team telephone line on 01608 731 700 or email us at events@daylesford.com. If you are emailing us or writing to us please include details of your reservation to help us to identify it. If you send us your cancellation notice by e-mail or post, then your cancellation is effective from the date you sent us the notification. If you call us to notify us of your cancellation, then your cancellation is effective from the date you telephone us.
8.5 Gift purchases: Tickets purchased as gifts carry the same cancellation policy.
8.6 Our rights to terminate: We may at any time cancel the Ticket booking or refuse your right to attend the Event or require your removal from the Event in the event of you failing to perform any of the obligations contained within these terms and conditions. If we cancel the Ticket booking or refuse you right to attend the Event or require your removal from the Event pursuant to this condition we shall be under no obligation whatsoever to you, and you shall make no claim whatsoever against us in relation to the booking. In no event shall we be liable for consequential damages of any nature for any reason whatsoever.
8.7 Cancellation by us: In the unlikely event that we cancel the Event we shall endeavour to provide you with one weeks’ notice although in certain circumstances this may not be possible and we shall provide you with as much notice as possible in the circumstances. You shall be entitled, at your discretion, to a full refund of Ticket price paid or to make a booking for an alternative date for the Event type in question within up to 12 months from the original Event date but otherwise we shall not accept any liability legal or otherwise due to such cancellation and shall not accept responsibility for expenses or other third-party costs that may have been incurred by you. In no event shall we be liable for consequential damages of any nature for any reason whatsoever.
8.8 Insurance: You are advised to take out insurance against loss of Event costs through illness, personal accident or failure to attend for any reason or for travel and accommodation loss. Some banks and credit cards automatically give you travel insurance cover. We recommend that you check with your provider before booking with us.
9. ERRORS
9.1 Errors are possible: Every effort is made to ensure that all the information provided regarding the Event is correct at the time of publishing but we make no warranties or representations as to its accuracy.
9.2 Images: The images of the Event on our site are illustrative only.
10. OUR LIABILITY
10.1 Statutory liability: Nothing in these terms of use excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, any breach of the statutory rights laid down by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
10.2 Exclusion of liability: To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations, or other terms which may apply to our Events and purchase of Tickets. If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if they were an obvious consequence of our breach or if they were contemplated by you and us at the time we entered into the Contract. We will not be liable for any loss suffered by you which is indirect, special or consequential including for any travel or accommodation costs.
10.3 Domestic use only: Please note that we only provide Events for domestic and private use (unless otherwise agreed). You agree not to book the Tickets for any commercial, business or re-sale purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
11. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
11.1 No liability: We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by an Event Outside Our Control. An Event Outside Our Control is defined below in Paragraph 11.2.
11.2 Definition: An Event Outside Our Control means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks or impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport.
11.3 Consequences: If an Event Outside Our Control takes place that affects the performance of our obligations under a Contract:
(a) we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you; and
(b) our obligations under a Contract will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the Event Outside Our Control. Where the Event Outside Our Control affects the date of our Workshop, we will arrange a new Workshop date with you after the Event Outside Our Control is over.
You may cancel a Contract affected by an Event Outside Our Control. To cancel please contact us. If you opt to cancel, we will refund the price you have paid.
12. COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN US
12.1 In writing: When we refer, in these Terms, to “in writing”, this will include SMS and e-mail.
12.2 Methods of contact: If we have to contact you or give you notice in writing, we will do so by phone, e-mail or by pre-paid post to the address you provide to us in your order.
12.3 Electronic communication: For contractual purposes, you agree to electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your legal rights.
13. OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS
13.1 Transfer: We may transfer our rights and obligations under a Contract to another organisation, but this will not affect your rights or our obligations under these Terms. You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these Terms to another person if we agree in writing.
13.2 Personal contract: This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.
13.3 Separate terms: Each of the paragraphs of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
13.4 No amendments: We intend to rely upon these Terms and any document expressly referred to in them in relation to the Contract between you and us. If you require any changes, please make sure you ask for these to be put in writing. This can help avoid any problems about what you expect from us and what we expect from you.
14. APPLICABLE LAW
If you are a consumer, please note that these terms of use, its subject matter and its formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree to that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland. If you are a business, these terms of use, its subject matter and its formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. We will not file a copy of the Contract between us.
